This has to be considered in the light of its overall cost. It served a purpose more than adequately and for the money worked well. The magnifier only really works quite close to the thing being viewed so difficult to get an overall view of something or has to be pushed in quite close, an additional less powerful magnifier might be a plus for the kit as they only bayonet fit in.
