Danfoss 013G2950 Thermostat sensor
Replaced 25+ yrs old Danfoss units (black fronts) where fitting tabs had fractured due to heat /ageing. Saved draining heating system & replacing entire valve bodies. Simple to fit, but valve pins may need working free by applying oil & pulling back & forth about 5mm with pliers. If you pull pin all the way out water will leak. If this happens just push pin back in. Best done when radiator is cold to avoid scalding. Slacken clip on sensor, push onto valve, tighten clip with screwdriver. Done!

Replacement Danfoss sensor unit
I found this a simple to use replacement for a 40 year old controller unit on a radiator thermostat. The original fitting had lost some of the plastic mounting fittings with periodic removal to allow me to lubricate the control plunger for the sensor. I was able to fit it in minutes. Good replacement
