Dyson AM07 Tower Fan is Awesome.
It rotates, has many wind settings and operates with a remote and comes with a Warranty. It's very safe, easy to lift and carry. I've had tower fans before that I liked but they collect heavy dust and it blows at you when it's turned on. The Dyson doesn't collect dust. Would not recommend! A fan for a third f the price would do a more efficient job.
Not what I expected? The CFM is nonexistent! And no where in the literature was there a specification for CFMs, least that I was able to locate. For a noticable flow, the fan must be in 10. Clever design
This item seems expensive at first, but once you have it in your hands you can see why it is worth it. Iy looks amazing, it's very quiet, easy to clean and the most important thing, it keeps you cool!, it works better than a traditional fan. Suck it and see?
It took me a long time to decide to spend the money on this fan but having owned Dyson items for many years and knowing how reliable they are the pro's outweighed the cons and the money said bye bye to my bank account. I was a bit surprised when it arrived, the box was bigger than any other box an oscillating had arrived in and perhaps there was extra packing I thought? No, the size of the box reflects the size of the unit inside so that's a 'con' as far as i'm concerned. You then have to assemble the unit! I know you pay all this money and you still do the work even airfix give you better deals. So, assembled, not a difficult job I must add and it stands nearly 3 1/2 feet tall!!now that i'm not happy with, another con, why would anyone want something that big in their lounge unless it was furniture! The leaflet, it cant possibly be called an 'operators manual' doesn't actually give you any details about the fan, does it oscillate! it doesn't say it does, does it explain how the remote control works! nope, for this amount of money you would expect an engineering manual to accompany the unit giving you details of everything you would ever need to know. Does it blow cold air! now that it does, is it quiet! well it is on the lowest speed settings the higher you go the noisier it gets, it compared it to my tower fan and apart from the air flow to which Dyson is superior the noise levels are roughly the same so no real advantage there. If I had known this before I purchased it would I have spent the money! now that's a question, to be honest i'd say yes but grudgingly I don't think its as good as they say it is, they could have reduced its height by a third and still had great air flow. Do I like it sitting in my lounge taking up much needed room, NO, sorry but its an eyesore, perhaps when we get those blazing days and sultry nights this will come into its own and we'll forget the 'cons' but sorry to say it we don't get months of hot humid weather do we! so it will be stuck in the cupboard along with the Dyson vacuum cleaner till its needed once more. I suggest you think long and hard about buying this unit, if the pro's outweigh the cons go for it, if not, keep your money in your pocket and buy a second tower fan, next time, I will!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This May Very Well Be Worth It...
While I do think that the price is absurdly high, getting a refurbished model that works perfectly for about $100 less than brand-new was a good move. In terms of my own priorities, noise-level was on par with fan-functionality and in this respect the product delivers--this is a quiet fan (not silent, but quiet). Two other things: --I placed the fan in front of an elderly a/c wall unit that is slotted in an awkward, inefficient spot and activated the Dyson's "swing" function and the combo has been transformational. The fan has transported the cool air from the a/c all throughout the room, even using its lowest setting. --As a householder with pets, there is considerable ease of mind in leaving my home with this fan running.
