Count Yourself Lucky
Having bought before they are ok if you get a good one, they seem to last about a year before the relay stops working and although the green light comes on to say it's working there's no power at the socket part and you have to dump the unit, I have had this issue with both the remote type and the normal non remote countdown time i have replaced them with new ones as i cannot seem to find any other make that has this remote cable Shop around for the cheapest ones as they probably won't last longer than 1 year

no remote control wire
The plug in itself is fine. It certainly makes sure that appliances do not stay left on which is great. However this was advertised as having a remote control wire but it did not. this makes it much more difficult to turn on as sockets are frequently in a position which is not very accessible so it becomes quite fiddly to grope around for the small button which turns the socket on.
