Thick and work well for storing food. Not 100% airtight, exactly like a jam jar, after you first open it when it becomes only 99% airtight. So this item I’d great if you wish to store things like honey and jams and stuff and things which keep in fridge after it’s open, but not good for storing meatballs in sauce long term, or things that need a real proper factory ‘pre opened’ type seal.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
