Milliput will set under water and is heat resistant up to 130C. After Milliput is set hard, it will continue to cure and is fully dry in around 8 hours. After this it can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sandpapered and painted.
Long working time. Hard stuff. Good black color. Bonds to plastic quite well. Water is your friend when working with this!
I have used a few epoxy putties lately. This one has the most black color of them all. Also this putty comes as two separate components instead of two layers wrapped around each other. The ones that has the two layers always have little rock hard pieces in them, which may be painful while mixing the stuff.
Also this milliput stuff has a very very long operating time. You can shape it for a very long time. But overnight it will become rock hard. Other putties I have used have only a few minutes before they become unusable.
I have an old jukebox. Some of its black plastic parts are missing large pieces - several cm2 of plastic missing. I used this stuff to patch it up. The bond seems strong enough and the color match is pretty good. I definitely recommend this stuff!
Add some colour and designs easily to your next bowl or platter. Really easy to mix and apply. Sets rock hard but easy to turn to a smooth, tough surface. Just wish they’d make more colours!
