Check with Meade Support for compatibility
Did not work on my meade lx90 12" ACF. Works on recently made meade lx90's. Mine is 2 years old and Meade support says the logic for its support was put in recently. Mine was made prior to the logic addition. Could not find North and spun the telescope clockwise and had to turn off the power to get it to stop.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works perfectly with Meade LT-8 ACF
I have just tested the LNT smartfinder module with my LT-8 and I can confirm that it is working flowlessly. I have permanently glued the LNT on the telescope. In the Audiostar I can set the red dot blink, I can do the auto alignment and the sensor calibration. Also, because I have added the StarGPS module with StarPatch update, the time provided by LNT is ignored and the gps time it is used instead.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works with new ETX-90 (Autostar 497 Firmware 43Eg)
I was a little bit worried that it wouldn't work with the Non PE edition of ETX-90, but it worked flawlessly. It makes it trivial to properly norht align and level the telescope for the initial alignment procedures. It also fits much better than the (really bad) red dot finder that comes with the ETX, so it doesn't move as much when aligning it with the OTAVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

2013 purchased Meade lx90 Audiostar
Worked 100% plug & play. If it is not working with your Audiostar use starpatch to patch your firmware, not Meade's software as it corrupts the data. Has nothing to do with "logic" in the scope it self. Turned a newer lx90 into an LNT model! All automatic again!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

LNT telescope smart finder scope
Helpful if you own a Meade DS 2000 series telescope. Helps with aligning stars for go to feature. However, I am not a great fan of finder scopes without magnification. Not as accurate in centering objects as is a finder scope with some magnification and crosshairs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
