Good value, one of the best cheap DTI's
Not a perfect piece of kit, then again I'm not building NASA parts ! Good value for the price. One improvement is needed. The outer bezel rotates and sounds like walking on broken glass, way to stiff, the dial plate slips now and again The lug back fixing looks like plastic, But it is die cast metal. Does what it says on the box, just not very well made.
Gauge itself worked ok though can't know for sure about accuracy as not certified. But it is a common product and if to be used for comparison rather than accuracy then that is no problem. Only real problem is the 'sliding'scale, which again like the many copies sold of this item the dial 'sticks'. Perfect for my needs
The quality of the instrument is excellent. As far as value for money is concerned I must award your product 100%.. Having priced up dial guage calipers for measuring sound board thickness for my latest venture, guitar making, and having a shock finding out the cost, £120 I find I can now make an equivalent device for a fraction of this cost at £7.99 using your dial guage.
