Excellent tool, beware of cheap copies
So these are pretty good amateur tools. I have had two ad the last me around 5 to 6 years. I have just bough one for my middle son whose an apprentice. Being steel this is much better than the plastic ones which may last a year or so. Don't confuse these with a cheaper very similar pattern copy that's also available which are useless due to poor quality. The more expensive professional ones are more heavily built and can be 'dropped' but are obviously far more expensive. Recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not the best
I opened the case very expectantly...looks good.... however the "feel" of the Vernier is rough.....even with lubrication, it still feels "rough" when in use. It is difficult to describe, but a normal vernier is smooth. The vernier wheel also feels rough. Not the best, and I had hoped Mannisman would be. I will be looking for a Mittitoyu.
