Good 4 the money time will tell
Delivered on time. used for 25 miles so far. I like the lightweight, the measure marks help set the correct length 1st time every time. I set the anti shock spring in the handle to on, this is what I'm used to. I worked out how to set the wrist lanyard length lock (no instructions) . The plastic locking clips look and feel flimsy - time will tell. I changed the baskets to the snow/bog type (from my old poles) and used cable ties so as not to lose them when walking friends stand on them (I do this for all my poles).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to use
This is easy to use. You can change the ferrules quickly, it quickly and easily telescopes up to make it easier to put in the boot. It is easy to lengthen and has graded measurements so you can keep using the same length when extending it (if you can remember your preferred length settings!). My hands tend to sweat and I would prefer a towel like fabric on the handle (or would this wear too quickly - I might try some sweat bands), but other sticks I have borrowed are similar.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great bit of kit!
I bought theses poles for a trek around the Cornish coastal path which is more like an assault course in places, once you learn how set them up and use them properly they’re really great, help you to power up ascents and take the strain off your joints and muscles on descents they generally keep you more steady on your feet helping you walk faster and further than you normally could. The suspension built in reduces impact and the lockable length adjustment clips are good quality and are easy to use, they remain the length you require and don’t slip. They pack away easily as they telescopically reduce in size.

These poles stood up well to the rigours of the path. I am 67 and weigh 17 stone so I use them a lot. The take the load well and I have complete confidence in using them. Lightweight, strong, great value walking poles.

Baptism of fire
I bought these because i was joining my brother for a few days of serious walking. He is walking accross Europe from Ireland to Istanbul! I joined him in Zagreb and we walked to Sisak 57km to the south in 2.5days. The poles were very useful and sturdy. It was partticularly handy to be able to adjust them to just the right length.
