Fun for the whole family
Go Vacation allows you to play up to 4 players at once. My family has spent hours playing this game. Usually, I would be upset by the kids playing video games for hours, but it's family time well spent with a little bit of physical activity too. Since we were unable to really venture outdoors this weekend (thank you Hurricane Joaquin), Go Vacation was the perfect solution for our family activity. The game is fairly easy to play, even my 8 yr old can play it without too much difficulty. Some of the events are a little more challenging, but I think that gives the player something to strive for. I don't like playing games that you can beat within a day. This is definitely not one of those games. Good attempt, but not great at all.
While this was a really good attempt by Atari to make an active WII game, it fails very badly in its delivery. The graphics are good, but you basically need every single Wii accessory in existence in order to play all of the games. I bought this game for my granddaughter so she could have a new game and a variety of things to do . At first I had to help her to show her the controls for different games . I've had so much fun playing it myself and you can always do something different so it would never get boring for whomever is playing . Olivia says it is her favorite game . Squeeky toy voices.
The games are OK. The extra characters on the game spend a lot of time talking to you and it is an annoying squeeky sound while the words are displayed on the screen.
