A very good TV packed with features and very well priced.

The tv is great. After an short time playing around without the aid of instructions the TVs is very easy to navigate. Apps are easy to download via Google store- a google account is required but can be set up easily from the TV if you don't have one. The picture quality is great. Two things which will stand out and may disappoint some- one which isn't really an issue and one that seems to let the package down. 1. If you are used to having a bit of bass through the in built speakers then this TV may seem tinny. Even though this is noticeable it didn't bother me because with the price point and features, the money saved purchasing it will easily leave you with enough cash to purchase a sound bar, or if you have a home cinema system just put the sound through that; it won't even be an issue. Given how slim the TV is, it's not unreasonable for you to accept that big powerful speakers just wouldn't fit. What did irk me a little bit is that the remote control just seems cheap, plasticky and sometimes unresponsive. It's only a really minor issue but it's the only thing about the set which has gotten on my nerves. In the pack of warranty registration documents there is a flyer advertising an 'air remote' for £20, after using the standard remote I wouldn't even bother entertaining it, not because it wouldn't be beneficial, purely because if I'm paying that money and receiving a similar build quality as the standard but with an extra feature, I would feel robbed of £20. Being a user of Kodi, the first thing I wanted to do was install the app and see how the builds run on the unit. I found that Kodi 17 is incompatible with the TV, not a problem as 16 works fine; download direct from Kodi website and install the 'ARM' version not the 'apk.' and make sure what ever build you install is a 'lite' version....... if you know then you know, if you don't then don't worry yourself over it! The TV came and has 3 HDMI ports not 2 as advertised and also has a microSD card slot. The TV has amazing picture quality when used with my PS4. All-in-all a great TV, I'm VERY happy with mine. Out of 10, I give it a 9.5 with the only thing taking the .5 away being the remote control. I hope my review helps you out if you are considering purchasing this product.

    Extremely Poor

This TV was purchased to replace a Philips 55" model 6008 1080p TV in my bedroom. The Philips has a superb picture virtually as good as my Hisense 65" 4k Curved TV in my lounge. I decided to replace the Philips with a 4K TV being hugely impressed with my Hisense. As the TV was only to be used in the Bedroom price was a major consideration as I did not wish to pay a huge amount. I opted for the Cello ( Which actually has a Goodmans badge on it ). After delivery I unpacked it and switched on. After setting it up I was most unhappy with the picture. The picture adjustments are very poor and it only displays in a very poor HD not upgraded 4K as with the Hisense. I have been unable to set up the Android Apps to see if You Tube will display in 4K as the instructions supplied are minimal with only a one page setup leaflet included. I will keep trying but with no luck so far. The sound quality appears just about acceptable but once again compared to my Hisense and Philips it is poor. I can honestly say that this purchase is one of my mistakes. Can I recommend it. Absolutely not. Spend a little more for a known name. Personally I shall stick to Hisense, a quality TV every bit as good as if not better than a lot of the more well known brands.
