The rugged design of the radios offers added protection against vibration, shock, and a variety of weather conditions. The RDV2020 radio is equipped with 27 VHF frequencies for security. You will enjoy sufficient two watt VHF coverage to enable communication for up to 13 floors or 220,000 square feet. The business exclusive frequencies include 89 UHF and 27 VHF frequencies. Three voice-inversion scramble settings help to minimize eavesdropping. A headset or ear pieces can be used to enhance privacy further. The Motorola RDV2020 two-way radio offers exceptional audio quality with a 2000 mW audio output wind noise reduction, speaker magnetic field reduction, and improved RF specifications. RDX series radios are louder with better audio quality than other radios from Motorola and other brands. The radio features a total of 219 codes to ensure clarity in the signal, including 38 analog and 83 Digital Interference Eliminator Codes. This Motorola radio is designed with specifications that enable the customer to set audio preferences, including three audible call tones and three sensitivity levels. The Motorola RDV2020 radio offers programmable software for additional functions. Customer Programming Software enables you to perform programming functions, such as manager lock, managing cloning and radio profiles, Time Out Timers, and other additional features. A separate USB cable is needed for download and programming with any Windows XP or Windows 2000 compatible computer. Settings can be quickly copied with optional accessories, such as a multi-unit charger or radio-to-radio cloning cable. This Motorola radio has tricolor LED indicators, including indicators for transmit, for receive, and to warn you of a low battery and remind you to put the battery on the charger. The voice activation feature allows for hands-free operation. Optional accessories are also available for Advanced Voice Activation, or VOX. The Motorola RDV2020 radio offers up to 2W of power, one on the low power setting, two channels, and two programmable buttons. The Motorola two-way radio is designed to IP-55 and MIL-SPEC specifications. The Motorola radio features channel scan with a selectable scan list. The Motorola RDV2020 radio is equipped with standard features that include accessory microphone gain, auto scan, USB CPS interface, 2-channel operation, radio microphone gain, scan and scan list, and more. This Motorola radio includes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, offering 12 hours of battery life, so you won’t need to worry about dead batteries. Additional accessories are sold separately to meet your battery needs, including high capacity lithium-ion batteries and alkaline battery kits. A full complement of accessories are available for the Motorola RDV2020 two-way radio, including a charger, headset, earpiece, microphone, extra batteries and other accessories to customize your business radios to your specific needs.
