The HDD-DVD recorder came very well wrapped & then packed inside a cardboard box. It was fortunate that it had been wrapped so well, as the box was badly damaged on delivery. No problems with the item though ! It's easy to use the very basic functions, but a user manual is needed for the more involved aspects of this item. A manual unfortunately was not included, but fear not ! I found one online as a pdf download, so no worries on that part. The item came nearly complete, as the only items I had to buy to connect it to the TV was a 21 pin fully wired SCART cable & an aerial lead. Included with the unit were, the all important remote control, a HDMI cable & a power lead. Works brilliantly, so far, very good price. Would recommend.

this product has replaced the exact same model that i have had for many years, due to the previous model being rented from Hughes, they messed up and could not fix it so I bought my own as I did not want to put up with Hughes and their excuses.

As with all Panasonic equipment it's well designed and made. Just wish they made 'em a bit more user friendly. Difficulty with setting up without a manual, and slow to get going from switching on and from standby also

This is my second Panasonic DMR-EX773 DVD/HDD recorder. The first recorder gave excellent service for many years, eventually going into self-test mode very time I tried to record to HDD. I didn't hesitate to replace the original when I came across this one for sale, and I would expect the same length of reliable service once again.

Bought as a replacement. Unfortunately Panasonic (and just about everyone else) don't make machines with scart input or output anymore so the only DVD Recorder I could find to fit my requirements i.e. copy to DVD hard drive from SKY box.

The Recorder looked like new condition and although there was no cable or remote supplied I had these from an older model which had just stopped working. Will try and download a manual as my first attempt at transfer from HDD to DVD took full running time to complete. Hopefully there is a fast transfer function available.

Tried a Hitachi PVR but was disappointed with it so went back to my first choice a Panasonic even if more expensive,Just plug in to mains, used auto set up and away we went,up and running within minutes-decent sized remote control with easy to use buttons, good quality recordings with simple to understand instructions, and clear easy to use programe guide,so much better than the Hitachi.
I needed a replacement dvd recorder and this one is good and fairly easy to use and has all the features I need on it, and it works and functions perfectly, well worth the money

I was looking for a second HDD recorder and considered this as an opportunity to upgrade to Freeview HD tuner; This is the next model up from my first HDD recorder and I decided to keep to Panasonic which makes programming etc. simpler. My TVs are Panasonic and the largest is 37 inch so I decided that the picture quality is good enough not to go for Freeview HD tuner; I do not like the advertisment on the EPG Guide which reduces the space for viewing the programmes; I bought a refurb model which was in excellent condition (did not have batteries for remote) and good value.
The recorder is working well, I am able to play and record dvd’s plus watch tv programs using this item. It was easy to setup and start using.
