More than one major drawback
We picked this phone after having partnered with with the Samsung enV3, which while similar, is in our opinion, far superior. If you need a qwerty keyboard, shop elsewhere. The keyboard on the Intensity II is anything but "natural" when compared to other celly keyboards. It's clumsy, and difficult to message quickly.
Perhaps the greatest hassle of this phone is the odd keyboard lockout system. Press the center button, then another button to the right, then back to the center button. If you're a quick study, maybe you'll catch on. But for us normal mortals, by the time you've fumbled through the unlock procedure, that important phone call awarding you $10,000 has already gone kaput! Or on the other hand, when the Mogul hordes are galloping down the block toward you, it's a sure-bet that you'll never have time to dial up for reinforcements.
All in all, we've had this phone for a month and are ready to hurl it into the nearest concrete block wall. Not one of Samsung's best efforts.
