Oxbridge Pond Aerator
This item is very easy to install and very effective. First placed in a rather shady position it worked, although did not seem very powerful. It was then moved to top of the garage where it caught full sunlight, then it really took off with both stones frantically bubbling. Oxbridge double aerator
I’ve used many other Oxbridge aerators and they’ve been great, working well in any light weather. Unfortunately this one works literally only when FULL SUN is on the solar panel, which in this country is not very often. Can’t fault it in full sun but as soon as the sun goes in a little the aerator stops again. A great little aerator.
This pump oxygenates the pond very well with masses of air bubbles. It is very easy to assemble and install. The only criticism is that the pumping unit is quite noisy and so should be located either where noise will not be a nuisance or sat inside a foam lined brick box.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Oxbridge oxygenator. OX45
I've not had it long. It's a little noisy so I've put it in a polystyrene foam box. It works really well and I've put 3 air stones on it. It's May / june so sky is bright. It slows when cloud comes over as you would expect. I don't know how it will fair in autumn/ winter but will I need it then. It looks the same as the Woodside but has a different solar panel. works really well and helps cool pond in this weather fish love it too
I bought this on recommendation from brother in law, works really well, had to move to get the longest hours of sunlight but keeps going all night too. I wont use in winter as don't want to ruin it in frost as its very good for keep oxygen up which in turn cools the water slightly stopping the fish from being sluggish from heat. The fish love playing in the faster moving water. the only downside is that its a little loud but in a way its comforting to know its not stopped working. Barely functions.
Only works in strong, direct sunshine - so using the mounting pole is fairly useless (you have to keep moving it around to track the sun).
