When it works it's accurate and easy.
This is a replacement for the original golfbuddy that worked great. This newer model does give you front, middle and back of green distance. That is a nice feature, the original just gave to the center unless prompted for the font and back. The problem with this one is staying connected to the satellites. Sometimes I have to manually change what hole I'm on. And it's my home course that I play frequently. A couple of times I have been unable to change the hole manually and it has to be shut down and rebooted. This is not good in the middle of a round. On the positive side the distances are pretty accurate and compared to the on the course markers which were professionally measured with a laser a couple of years ago. Since this is fairly new I am hoping it will get better a staying connecting the more it's used.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Could not charge it.
When I tried the GPS it would not come on. I assume this was because it had no charge. Golf Buddy has chosen not to include an adapter with it to charge it with. In the instructions it tells what strength adapter to use. I did not have nor could I find the proper one. So, I could not charge it! Very accurate and easy to use
Excellent choice for golf GPS. Did experience issues with downloading course data via Windows 10 OS. Fortunately I had an old computer running XP and was able to download driver and data using the Golf Buddy website without issue. Also directions supplied leave a little to be desired. Basics, such as how long a charge is required before using the unit (4 hrs), was only found in the troubleshooting section. After that, I am very pleased with the unit. In the two weeks that I've had it, have used it on at least 5 different courses over 150 m. radius and it has recognized the course and hole very well. On one course it jumped to the respective hole when I hit into the adjoining fairway, but came back as soon as I got back on track.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wonderful Golf Accessory That's Discrete
I love my Golf Buddy Voice 2. It's very accurate and I love the fact that it's very discrete yet easy to read in bright sun. Range finders and mobile phone apps can provide the needed info and more but are cumbersome to use or hard to read in bright sun conditions. very accurate and easy to use
I checked the accuracy with the markings on the course and it was right on. I hook it on my belt and push the button when I need it and it gives you the yardage to the green by voice. I like it enough that I purchased another for a backup in case I run out of Charge or loan it out.
It's simple to use but it doesn't show how far it is to other trouble areas on the course like, water, islands, etc. I really don't use those features so for me this is a great GPS. It auto goes to the next hole or if you skip or replay a hole, it Auto goes to that hole. On a battery charge it last 2 and sometimes 3 rounds.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It us extremely easy to use. I do not have to search for a golf course at the beginning of each round. It automatically find your course and the hole you are playing.
