Good content, but the content writes itself. Interviews with big names in the sport, anyone could've written down what these big names said. The author didn't manage to dig deeper. For someone who went to Harvard he wrote very poorly (might explain the fact that he studied art). Lots of instances of very poor writing, like a high school essay. For example, he just says 'Go youtube this clip', or 'go watch this documentary'... This is a published book written by a Harvard graduate. At least explain what's in the documentary and show us the critical scenes, or link it to the book. Instead he just said 'this is a good documentary about the mindset, go watch it'. There were some fillers in the book also, about art critic and comparing it to fighting. A few chapters about playing chess and runner a marathon, which are NOT 'fighting'... The author wanders around a few hypotheses but doesn't come to any solid conclusion.Read full review
I purchased this book for my grandson, as he had asked me to get it towards his birthday present. I am sure he likes it, as it is a subject he is studying and I believe it was recommended to him.
