Works great, great price
I've used roughly half of my box so far to cover the back half of my truck (just floor) it's easy to apply and has already made a very noticeable difference with my exhaust being quieted down from inside the cab. Some areas is actually double layered as the curves in the truck make it difficult to cover without being torn or cut crazy but for my system I want to make sure the metal is as firm as possible and keep the sound inside the cab. I plan to order more in the near future to cover the entire inside of my truck. Can't beat the quality for the price, highly recommended everywhere I look and I'm glad I bought it. I also have second skin in my doors left over from another build and quite honestly I'm liking both just the same but for the price I'll be sticking with Noico from here out.

Sound Deading
Product was easy to install, you can tell by just knocking on the metal that is not as noisy as before. Have not driven my vw bus because of the (covid 19)self isolation, This product has no smell to it.

Excellent sound deadening at about half the price of the competition
I am starting a van conversion [a big empty box commercial vehicle] and wanted to make any trips we took in it as pleasant as possible. After owning an electric car [Chevy Volt], we became used to the extreme quiet such a vehicle offers and we wanted to try and experience this same level of comfort in this van. After checking out recommendations from others on the web, I leaned to the reliable Dynamat until I found out how much it would cost to cover every square inch of the interior of this big box. So, I searched for lower cost alternatives of which there were several and most out-gassed or melted down in the heat or were inferior in noise reduction. Then I came across Noico in an installation video on Youtube. I watched as the 80 mil self-adhesive strips rolled down with ease and looked essentially identical to the trusty Dynamat. I ordered eight boxes and went to work. First, the van is new and the interior clean so degreasing was easy. BUT the Ford Transit 250 has a double-wall construction that makes it very difficult to get anything against the surface to be tamed. Many cutouts were only large enough for my hand to fit into and some were totally accessible so I did the best I could and hoped it would do. Wheel wells are a major noise source and I attacked them hard laying down as much as I could [remember the double-wall? Yup, it was there too.]. I took my time and next were the rear doors, essentially empty cavities. I noticed that the vapor barrier was present on one side and not on the other [so much for robotics] and used two layers of 2" thick polyester insulation and a layer of Reflectix as a final solution in these doors. I quickly ran out of the polyester insulation [Mountain Mist] and had to treat the remaining walls waiting on the insulation to arrive. Each day, I would do another section and each day *MAJOR* improvements in noise reduction resulted. The RH sliding door and roof were last and I have yet to do the cab floor, doors, and roof. However, noise levels are not quite acceptable as compared to our Chevy Volt. Road noise is pretty much a thing of the past but engine noise and heat is something I must address in the future, something beyond this review. In summary, we are thrilled with the results at about half the cost of Dynamat. Two things I like better about Noico: 1) it is thicker and therefore reduces noise better [80 mil vs. 60 mil], and 2) Noico has these little diamond patterns on the foil that make straight lines easy to cut and tell you that you have already rolled over an area [both extremely useful]. Now there is one thing I wish they did not do: fold the product in the shipping box. They take three sheets and then tri-fold them before putting them into a box. Two sets of these three-layer folded sheets are in each box leaving two nasty crunched-up strips on every sheet. While it did nothing adverse to the application [smoothed out easily with the roller and left no air bubbles] it would make an installer’s [read your] life easier if it came packed flat without folds. In summary, if I were you I would give Noico a try. It applies identical to Dynamat and IMHO works better for less money. Attached pics show the wheel well with Noico then layered with Reflectix then covered with the stock plastic wheel well cover. Notice the double-wall construction of this van and the limited access to the outer wall. My hands are well scratched and fingers raw after a solid week of work, 8-12 hours a day for 7 days.

This is the very best quality of sound deadener available today~ Noico is the Top Dog of Quiet!
I have done my entire car with sound deadener and have used several different brands. Noico is by far superior to any other available. If you look at the weight of the product compared to other bigger names you'll find the Noico comes in at 27 pounds for the box of 36 square feet. The super well known brand of sound deadener comes in 5 pounds less and costs way more. I used two layers of Noico in the new areas and placed a single layer over the old material I started with. I won't use any other brand again, ever. The level of difference in my automobile is incredible. The doors when closed are solid. The "tinny" sound that you get from the car is gone. It makes no noise at all any more. The only thing I hear are the tires on the pavement. The body flex is gone, the creaks, rattles and shakes are all gone. The car is silent in every way. The stereo sounds better, the environment is more comfortable and sealed, the car has better ground contact. It's absolutely incredible. I stand behind Noico 100%. It is the top of the line product of which you won't find better.

Good stuff for fraction of the cost of Dynamat and competitor butyl based materials!
Works like a charm in terms of dampening vibrations and nuisance resonance in car metal and plastic panels. It gives a little sound barrier but for true sound barrier in addition to Noico 80mil, you need mass loaded vinyl sheets (MLV) to really cut down on road noise! This stuff is very easy to work with and cut with utility knife. I used the butt end utility knife to press down material to surface versus buying a rolling tool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I can think again
I did the floor, door panels, under the back seat, wheel tubs, below the package tray in the trunk of my 65 chevelle. I also used the 135 mil heat insulation pad pn the floor. And WOW!!! Fantastic product, great quality
I bought this to eliminate some of my exhaust noise. It came well packaged and in easy to use sections. The backing peals off easy and it adheres to anything you stick it to. No need for a roller or heat. This stuck car in 50°F weather without a roller. It completely eliminated my exhaust drone. I ran a DB meter before and after the install. Better than expected!
This product is just as good and easy to work with as it's more expensive competitors, as far as I'm concerned I got the best bang for my buck. I used it to line the rear hatch on my 2010 Nissan Armada and I don't regret the purchase! Noico sound deadener as good if not better than Dynamat
Strange that I received this review request today. Today is the day that I started to install the Noico material. It was a hot day and that made it easier to handle. It went down very nicely and I am sure it will do what its intended to do. I ordered the 36 sq ft package and find that it is not enough to do the interior of my 1987 Firebird. Wow this noico sound deadener Matt is easy to install, easy to cut/trim. Very low odor after install on a hot day, almost none compared to the low quality stuff you get from home depot. Completely stopped my roof from flexing during full tilt demos. Made my component speakers louder by reducing flex in the doors and body panels. I will buy again when I need to do my tool box and truck bed. 36sq ft will do an extended cab truck with two coats almost everywhere. See photos!!!!
