The body of the phones feature the traditional numbered keypad, making it perfect for those not used to touch screens. The speakerphone allows for hands-free calls while driving, and the voice activation lets you take care of all your communications without laying a finger on the keypad. The LG GS170 is designed with a red plastic case that is very simple to flip open. With compact dimensions of 3.6 by 1.9 by 0.7 inches, the GS170 is slim enough to fit in any pocket. The phone is easy to grip thanks to the round corners and tapered sides. Weighing in at 2.8 ounces, the device won't slow you down. The external display on the red T-Mobile phone's front measures 1.04 inches and has 96 x 64 pixels. With support of up to 65,000 colors and the ability to show the battery life and signal strength, it is easy to get information at a glance with this screen. Users can also quickly check the date, time, and caller-ID information. Above this display is the lens for the camera. The volume adjustment button is on the left side of the mobile device, and on the right side is a microUSB port for charging. The internal display is 1.8 inches and supports up to 262,000 colors. The interface is user-friendly, with adjustable home screens, menu styles, font sizes, and backlighting. for very basic phone services, phone works fine. most of the more advanced operations that are advertised are complicated to get to get to, set up and get to day in and day out. Also, smaller overall than I thought from viewing item on website ( I know - I should held a tape measure or ruler up and saw for myself). Best flip phone
I bought this for my 89 y.o. mother in-law, who is technology challenged. Her new flip phone is far too complicated and the hinge has broken once already in 3 months. T-Mobile Flip Top phone
This is a basic no frills phone, but that's why I love it. It's simple to use and I like that you can immediately answer and connect to an incoming call by simply lifting the flip cover. No hunting around for the right icon, etc. I also like its small compact size. It has a long battery life and I get at least 3-4 days on standby without recharging. On the other hand, my Samsung Galaxy Exhibit phone is lucky to last 6-8 hours on standby- though it does have many other nice features. BAD and 2G doesn't work anymore in all T-mobile locations
