Fantastic little digital audio recorder. Has good quality microphone and records excellent very clear audio. It has limitations as it is mono and does not have a mount for a stand like some other recorders. If recording outside on a breezy day you will need a dead kitten or similar wind break device. You have to spend a lot more or be lucky on ebay to better this device for the money. I have been using to record audio for videos and to capture musical ideas.

I've never owned a voice recorder before so I don't have a whole lot to compare it to. However, I'm pleased with this one. Volume and clarity are very good, this is particularly obvious when files are played on the computer. The device is simple to use, fits into pockets well. I'm using extra storage with a mini SD card. The only slight drawback is that when switching the recorder on while using the SD storage it takes a little while to prepare itself for use (30 seconds or so). Outside of that I'm very pleased.
Great digital recorder. easy to use. Good clear recordings, great software package. Not sure about the Dragon Naturally Speaking software that comes with it - it needs a lot of data to transcribe well. Data in the form of emails, recorded speech, etc.
It is a little more difficult to use, i.e., to set the time, but apart from that, I am pleased with it. I would have preferred an easier way to set the time

Well ! I have found this recoder to be a very useful and reliable item. I bought it to record my favourate music and songs. because of its compact size, I find it convenient to carry in my pocket.I simply like it and yes I would buy another one again as a gift. i brought this product to replace the one my girlfriend lost at uni, it has a very clear and crisp sound and high quality recordings and play back, its a very easy to use product any one could use it :)i would buy one for myself and recommend it too anyone that needed a dictaphone. this product has the capability to be connected and backed up onto a laptop which makes it better than alot of the competition.
