    Comedy at its best

    It is tempting to say that British comedy is not what is was and, in some cases, this is certainly true. However, the Outnumbered series show British comedy at its very best, slightly understated and relying on the strength of the characters plus a touch of very slight exaggeration. The husband and wife come over extremely well and support the three children in the family who are allowed, to a degree, to ad lib which gives the series and certain spontaneity. And is is so refreshing to have a comedy series that is simply funny and doesn't have to rely on swearing or vulgarity to raise a laugh. All in all this was a great series
