I have no idea how good or bad this series is...it was not suitable for use in American dvd players so it was a stupid waste of money on my part and i threw it in the trash

  • very disapointing

think i was expecting more as WTD was fantastic acting, but some of the characters in this are weak and the episodes are only only long

  • Should have been buried along with the corpses.

Oh dear, many of us enjoyed Waking the Dead, well apart from wanting to slap the guvnor in the face every time he opened his mouth but when that series finished it left a vast gaping hole in our tv detective spot but along came the Body Farm. This we thought being a spin off from Waking the Dead would give us the same gritty determination from characters to solve the most difficult of crimes, would give us strong characters who maybe seemed to hate each other yet would die for each other, the type of combination so popular in many police series, the truth though was far from this. The characters didn't gel, there was no chemistry between any of them, even the detective who initially got them involved in his unsolvable cases was more sandy than gritty, the team, well the politically correct team included a woman of presumably west indian origin who spend more time defending her colour and berating the whites for their slavery was joined by a thin insipid young man with mental problems, the lead couple, they were a couple, didn't even seem to like each other let alone fancy each other, that was what we were given to replace Waking the Dead. The story lines were a waste and some didn't make sense, individuals from the team got involved in areas and people who they had no right getting involved in or with leaving you to think what would a half decent defence lawyer do with them in a court of law! To say that this series should never have been made let alone seen the light of day is an understatement, it is crass rubbish of the worst kind its not even so bad that it can be classed as a classic, its awful, i'm just glad they never made any more. I've sold my copy already, at a small profit, to another person who like me remembered the series but couldn't remember how bad it was, no doubt they will be selling it to someone else of the same mind, DONT buy it, you think the Dukes of Hazard was bad this makes that series look like Dallas against Coronation Street. If you do be warned you will have major neck problems resulting from you leaving the room shaking your head and saying 'what the hell was that about'?
