I first saw this on TV, there were some of the cut scenes in that broadcast version too, so probably part of a dedicated movie season, and I'm glad to have tracked down a version with those scenes. I did not recall the opening scenes from it, had maybe tuned in late for the opening - so I had that still to watch - but the movie hardly needs it, it's self-explanatory if you've read the synopsis and the telling of it is so essentially real, there needn't be a tendency for excessive gore or exaggeration of any kind, and it just unfolds before your eyes - it is truly a visual treat too, the cast are all brilliant, and as said - even just seeing it from the chapel scene didn't stop my enjoyment and understanding of the plot. What's ultimately best about this purchase is the comparative price for just a download elsewhere, I'd much rather stock a disc library.Read full review
