Uplifting Mellor Drama
Rather expensive. I wouldn't normally buy a DVD without having viewed something beforehand. However, after enjoying much of Kay Mellor's work, I thought I'd give this a try. The story is set during two decades (Disc One - 50s and Disc Two - 80s). The first part was a tad slow and I much preferred the second featuring Sue Johnston in the lead role. It had you laughing one minute and crying the next. Such a shame that the BBC fails to repeat gems like this. Great cast with lots of familiar faces.

All good, but the second disk with Sue Johnson staring was gripping - She finished up on the roof ... I kid you not. What is Love? Love is being there through thick and thin. This dvd teaches us so much. Yes, def buy it, you wont be disappointed!
