It the bolts you are removing are rusted or very tight it will have trouble removing them, i recommend spraying them down with PB blaster or Kroil and break them loose with a breaker bar. The wrench will do the rest of the work. Works great for tightening bolts, lug nuts, etc. Be careful not to over tighten, an oil soaked bolt and stud will torque tighter then a dry one. But I usually use never seize on lug nuts. makes them much easier to take off when you need to. Remember this will create quite a bit of torque, use the tool that matches the application. I wouldn't use this torque gun on anything smaller then a a 1/2" or 13mm nut and bolt.

Within it's capacity range, it is a great tool! I bought it at first to change tires in the driveway and not have to drag 100 plus feet of air hose out each time and then put it away when one of my kids/friends got a flat tire, needed a tire rotation or to change out the Winter/Summer tires. Saves the hour plus wait at the tire store too! I have found other uses besides lug nuts by just having it here, such as engine tear down, transmission tear down, Lawn mower repairs and installing machine and lag bolts for building projects(be careful on the smaller sizes). It's a great tool when you need something fast, portable and without cords or hoses. I have taken it to the salvage yard when they allow it and use it where I can to save some time removing needed treasures. I do not like the rocker style trigger because in some situations it is too easy to reverse the desired direction of the tool. Overall I am very happy with the tool.Read full review
This tool work pretty well, but you need a fully charged battery installed to reach maximum torque. I also believe a Lithium Ion version of the 18V battery would allow the tool to draw more current, and therefore to develop more impact speed, and therefore more torque.
