A Tempest to Remember
Brilliant and entertaining! Christopher Plummer brings Shakespeare’s Prospero to life with warmth and humor. He speaks his lines with natural ease and so does all the cast. There are frequent chuckles and poignant moments. Heroes are part-villains and villains are part- heroes. Arial, the magic spirit, sings beautifully . The “monster” Caliban is athletic and almost sweet in his longing for friends. He has the most poetic lines of all. Michael Roth’s music is mesmerizing and exciting, and the staging is in the round and fluid. Absolutely magical!

Best version of the play I have seen.
This Is BY FAR the best version of The Tempest I have seen. Just an excellent video of an excellent live performance. Their use of humor was outstanding.
