A must-see for dinosaur fans of all ages
Let's face it - no one does a nature documentary like the Beeb. This one picks up where the famous "Walking With Dinosaurs" left off 20 years ago, and introduces us to the results of the latest paleontological research. Narrated by the actor John Hurt, and using state-of-the-art CGI, these documentaries bring a new cast of characters to life - massive new carnivores like Spinosaurus and Carcharadontosaurus, the largest marine predators the world has ever seen, and weird feathered dinosaurs like Microraptor and Sinorthinosaurus. The series goes on to explore the predator / prey relationships which drove the evolution of the largest dinosaurs of the Jurassic and Cretaceous eras, and concludes by showing how their survival over a period of more than 150 million years has made them the most successful animal group in Earth's history. Brilliant stuff, but please BBC, don't make us wait another 20 years for the next update.

It was a Christmas gift for my 7 year old who is crazy about dinosaurs. He has watched the entire dvdvat least 8 times since Christmas Day!! It is a bit graphic in places but the detail of information is very interesting and engaging.

I put on the dvd as soon as I got it but it was not what I expected.It kept coming away from the dinosaurs & went into the exploration & how they were discovered & where.Was expecting it to b more like walking with dinosaurs trilogy where they don’t look for the nearest possible location of where the dinosaur was found.Wasn’t impressed sorry.
