The films, based on the writings of author J.K. Rowling, chart Harry's progress as he discovers his magical powers, meets his soon-to-be two best friends, learns how to play the school sport, Quidditch, and begins to understand how the forces that killed his parents are still out to do him harm. In the sixth thrilling instalment, Harry returns to Hogwarts for another year of schooling and learns more about the dark past of the boy who grew up to become his arch nemesis, Lord Voldemort. While trying to thwart Voldemort's evil plans and save both the Muggle and wizarding worlds from imminent disaster, Harry is struck by the love bug that seems to be going around Hogwarts. Fortunately, Dumbledore, his trusty mentor, is on hand to prepare him for the monumental battle that's looming ever closer.

Reviews
Fort Worth Star-Telegram - For 10 years and eight films we've gotten to watch these young actors grow as people, as performers and as characters. It has been a true coming-of-age saga, in the fullest and most moving sense of the term., Daily Telegraph - [Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban] This is the best Harry Potter film to date., New Yorker - [Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2] When the movie was over, a young boy sitting behind me said, "That was great!" He was satisfied, and rightly so., USA Today - [Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix] The special effects continue to be masterful, but villains are given a new twist, and Order of the Phoenix is all the more fun because of it., TIME Magazine - [Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire] Not just an efficient babysitter but a wizard of a movie., Rolling Stone Magazine - [Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince] Harry is better than ever, a triumph of visual wonder and emotional storytelling., Variety - [Harry Potter And The PhilosopherÆs Stone] A near-perfect commercial and cultural commodity., Time Out London - [Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets] The franchise is safe! Columbus' second alchemical movie ups the thrill quotient to satisfy the faithful. There's more action, and it's scarier.

Consumer Advice
Contains moderate fantasy violence, threat and horror
Its entertaining but having all the set makes the story continuous not as the TV showing parts out of sequence, especially recommend for someone who now cant move about due to a serious operation and getting just bored stiff, really makes the hours pass, been watching twice the whole series taking at least 2 days each run.
Great movies (obviously), but buying them on this DVD collection was rather a mistake. Poor quality of the copies, painful quality of the picture and not so great sound. I've tested it in two separate setups (ps4 Pro and Panasonic BR) and in both cases very disappointing result. Do yourself a favor and invest slightly more to get these on bluray format.
although obviously aimed at a younger audience - this septuagenarian was enthralled and entertained by this series of films. I was never able to find J K Rowling's books readable but these films brought the books to life. The Special Effects were breathtaking, the acting wonderful but Harry and his 2 sidekicks regularly had the film "stolen" by Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane and Maggie Smith - who deserved a more involved role
