Compelling Read
A well written book that is hard to put down once you start reading it. The part that 43rd Wessex Brigade played in the battle for Normandy has been over looked. Ken Ford has captured the the whole event of crossing the river Seine, in away that is easy to follow and understand. However, this does not take away from the horror and sacrifices that both sides suffered during this battle. I would recommend this book to anyone that has an interest in WW2 or the Wessex Brigade.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
