Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in Apple Desktops & All-in-Ones
For the price, I'd have to say this is a pretty tough and capable little computer. If Apple would make a cheaper desktop macpro, then I wouldnt be forced to buy this, but you wouldn't believe the stuff I'm doing on it. The newer ones are definitely stronger than the ones from 4-5 years ago, although those are fine for word processing, the net, and most non-pro level tasks. THe only thing these minis might have a problem with is RAM capacity, which can be a hang up. Plus, they're not the fastest renderers out there. That's what you pay the big bucks for. However, if you buy it used, you may not be able to register the server software.
While the product could turn on, it failed to serve any function since no password was provided. And it failed to go into recovery mode as well. This wasn't indicated on the product description. And the guest account is useless and doesn't allow any changes.

I had a chance to buy a standard server. Decided to try this. So far so good, I haven't really tried to do what I've purchased it for which is use it as a web server but it set up nicely and I am happy with the functioning.

Been using MacMinis for years now. They are real workhorses. I have an i5 MacMini and and i5 MacBook Pro. Although this is only a core two duo, it seems to be as capable as either of my other machines.

I love the small form factor, the quiet operation, and the ease of use. OVerall, for a smal business I highly recommend the "little server that could"!
