The general consensus of Queen according to the band's ever youthful drummer was The Works was the best album Queen ever made hence the name "The Works"
The tracklist is most impressive with the emphasis more on quality rather than quantity. It has the classic ballads from the pen of the legendary Freddie Mercury , It's a Hard Life and Keep Passing The Open Windows, the rock classic from Brian May Hammer To Fall, John Deacons iconic I Want To Break Free ( with its very memorable video ) and to me the song of the album written by Roger Taylor the amazing Radio Ga Ga. Who could ever forget the scene of The Late Great Freddie Mercury created at Live Aid whilst getting the audience to join in in this fantastic song.
This album also comes with a bonus CD for your additional pleasure. Not cheap but well worth every penny , now where was I? Oh yes
All we hear is Radio Ga Ga, Radio Goo Goo.......
