Powerful and deep
I've always liked some of Peter Gabriel's work, but I wouldn't call myself a fan. However, the orchestral backing to his songs makes me think that this is what was missing. The reworking of his earlier songs is made so dramatic and powerful when accompanied by a full orchestra. It's so good, I can almost forgive 'Don't give up' not being done by Kate Bush... almost! Even so, the version on this album is growing on me.
