Great pickup!
I've paired it to a Dimarzio Injector neck and an Area 67 in the middle, all of them Alnico 2, and it works great! It has great tone and gives me the the grit I was looking for. I use it in a Canadian Basswood strat guitar.

Great sound
I put this in a '78 Vantage Witch, a great guitar but it had weak pickups. The SH-PG1 makes it sound as good or better than any $2,000 dollar guitar. I saved a lot of money by replacing the pickups instead of buying a new guitar.
