great to have in all ways
i can not sow and my trousers had split so i brought this little sowin machine and wow is fantastic and so easy to use. it would also be very handy for when your on holiday. especialy with kids the way they go through their trousers lol. i recommend this to everyone is a very handy tool to have at one point in your life.

Not very good
Dont get me wrong here, the seller was brilliant. The product however lacks any real purpose. It does put what looks a stitch in a piece of cloth, but unlike a real sewing machine it only uses one bobbin, thus it pushes the cotton through the cloth holds it for a split second then pulls it back. The end product does look like a stitch, but you can just pull the cotton from any point on one side only, and the whole lot will just come undone. Shame really because it looks good, but they are cheap probably for this reason.

Handy stitch not so handy!
Having worked initially on a test piece of fabric it then stopped stitching and I cannot get it to work at all. Seems to be a common issue from what I’ve sern online. The device itself is quite poor quality even for the low price and the instructions are very basic with unclear diagrams.

Save your money
Complete rubbish, stitched for about 5 inches then decided to just go through the motions, only wanted to stitch about 5 feet of thin curtain material and it didn't even manage that, the only thing it did right was arrive on time, its now in the bin as I won't return in fear that they send me another

Only for thin fabric!
Had to adjust needle height to make it actually stitch, leaving the smallest gap of a a few Mm to get fabric under the guide, will just about fit two pieces of felt under needle - nothing thicker will work so don’t attempt! It will be ok for repair jobs on thin clothing but get what you pay for!

Works well but stitching is not locked
Works well but the stitch does not lock automatically. One pull of the thread and the while stitching becomes undone. You'll need to manually pull the thread to the other side using something like a needle to lock the stitches. Otherwise, it is handy and useful tool.

Hand held stitching
Product came quick. Easy to use . Exactly as it says in pic. Item stopped stitching . Found out it was to do with the needle screw not tight , but the screw it’s held with is faulty so a needle will never stay. Shame

Received my hand held sewing machine. However a bit annoyed as received 2 white bobbins and the picture showed other colours including back and no mention anywhere that it would be only white or an option to pick what thread colour!
