Why did Ford .....
go to so much trouble to save just pennies on this and several other parts of Volvos when they had control of Volvo?? This simple device which was only missed off a few years production makes all the difference when it come to getting a good handbrake I cannot recommend this simple conversion/reversion enough. Easy to fit..Quick to adjust A WINNER!!!!

This device has transformed the handbrake on my volvo v70 that I have owned for 15 yrs. The handbrake adjustment has always been very poor ( cable only ) until this adjuster became available. There is also a good online video to show how to instal.

Just brought the car and it had deficient handbrake performance so fitted new shoes and the adjusters and reset the cable adjuster on the handbrake lever and the performance is much improved. Easy to fit and worth the money.

If you have a Volvo or other car that should have been fitted with these from new, buy them (and some copper based grease and a new set of retaining springs) and fit them. Put an end to handbrake problems for good.
