Replacing the original, easy!
Our original Sky remote had definitely seen better days - and over the past few months it was difficult to fast forward and/or stop and rewind, r replay a particular feature because some of the buttons were unresponsive or were sticking. At first we thought it was the batteries running down, but replacement batteries proved that not to be the case. For the low price offered here on ebay we were able to order a new Sky remote, programmed to default, which worked immediately and overcame the problem we had been experiencing. We did notice that the volume adjustment didn't work at first but, having read the programming instructions, to sync the remote with your particular make of TV (which was very easy to do), everything now works as intended! let's hope we get many years of happy viewing with this excellent new remote!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Replacement Sky remote
Not the greatest remote. It looks authentic but isn't as heavy as the original and doesn't respond like the original. It was tricky to programme to my LG TV, and still won't control it properly so I have reverted to using the original LG remote to control the T.V. I wouldn't buy it again and will end up replacing it with a proper one from Sky unfortunately. I suppose you get what you pay for.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sky get enough cash from me already....
Sky wanted over £20 for the same product...! While this one is slightly lighter than the original unit, it performs as good if not better... I just slipped the new batteries in it followed the programming instructions, that were in English, and off she went. Works on box but doesn't hold TV programming for more than 5 min!
Works well on sky box, decent quality for probe and quick delivery. Unfortunately once I'd programmed to control the TV (which was easy enough to do) it wouldn't hold this programming for more than 2 min. My TV is Sony, don't know if brand would effect this? Good value for the money paid

Hard to believe......
I will make this short. Was dubious this product would even work at the ridiculous price of £4 odds. Wow, put two batteries in, followed instructions with code supplied for a Sony tv. Was up and running with full functionality of original remote in approx 3 minutes. Not only does it look the same but performs as original did when new. (Dont know why I waited so long to replace sticky buttoned original). Yes it is marginally lighter than original but no loss of quality. Nice Remote for the price
The Samsung code on the paper didn't allow me to control my tv's volume while everything else worked. After looking through sky's website, I managed to get a code that allowed the remote to sync with my tv's volume control... nice remote for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
