This can make the difference between repairing or scrapping a car.
I bought a 2003 xc90 d5 awd as a cheap family bus. The car suffered from a continual anti skid service warning light on the dash. A diagnostic confirmed that the DEM which operates a pump to active the clutch for the awd to the rear wheels was not on the network and was faulty. I sent it off for refurbishment on monday and it was back fully refurbed and repainted looking like a new part by wednesday. I reinstalled it in 5 minutes and several weeks later its still perfect. Volvo charge 1800 or so for a new haldex as opposed to this service costing 150 and coming with a lifetime warranty. 1800 on a 2003 car was not an option but this gave the car a whole new lease of life.
