Works - just - but could be more robust
The adaptor fitting to the tumble dryer is perfect. Replacing the one supplied with the machine is straightforward and easy. Bought this kit because the 'expanding' metal hose was totally impractical. Not simple to expand and fix with large jubillee clips. Bad news when trying to compress as pushing dryer back into place. Previous White Knight (no longer producing) dryer hose was plastic and wire contained and retractable within the dryer. Magnificent design. This adaptor and hose does the job well enough BUT the hose is a more flimsy plastic and the wire not as robust as the old one. This leads to a less secure fixing to the adaptor and to the wall grille. Having said all that - it is up and running and I have 'saved' the old hose as back-up, just in case. The new metal hose supplied with the dryer has been binned.
