This is a high quality product which is designed to work with the Selkirk/Metalbest chimney system. It is quick and easy to install. You must then add sealant around it where it encircles the pipe in order to prevent water from running down inside it and down the pipe. Plastic roof cement works well for this. The collar is made to fit two sizes of pipe and is a relatively tight fit on the larger pipe (it has two sets of attaching tabs to make it adjustable.) Be certain when ordering to match the collar carefully to your pipe - the size nomenclature isn't intuitive, since the pipe has both an inside diameter and an outside diameter. Be certain you order a collar to fit the O.D. of the pipe you are using. I'm convinced this is the best chimney system available.
