Had the Skullcandy Ink'd wireless and althoughI liked the controls- pause, up/down volume etc, and I thought them good for music, not so good for spoken word- podcast, books. So, I went to Consumer Reports, and they rated the Strum highly. It had the controls, this was important for me. Sound for music and spoken word is good. No problem with sound. My only complaint, and it is nit picking, is the volume control is a slide, and the pause button is on the other side of the control, so I find myself pausing/starting when I adjust the volume.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Strum vs Ink'd, that is the question
First off, I have the Ink'ds also. The comfort and the features of the Strum earbud are great with the button and the volume slider. They also are comfortable. Me being a sound nerd, I do believe that the sound from the Inks is comparable or better than the strum. I've owned a pair just like it that broke at the stem on the ear piece. Bought Seinheisers to replace them and those are good, but not as good as these. I like the fit, the flat cable, the depth of the bass in the sound, the built in microphone and volume control. Short timer
Yeah there good for listening but 1 1/2 month in they start coming apart behind the part that goes in yur ear. Then u can expect that the sound volume to get horrible. Then u get aggravated. Definitely not Strum earbuds. Authencity is definitely questionable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Received dysfunctional product
I owned a pair of these and Love them more than any other, ordered another one after losing mine, but after using it, I realized that the volume slider has to be pressed in the upmost possition in order for both the speakers to work, if I let go or lower the slider at All, one of them goes out :/Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
