Really Good Purchase.
Having purchased so very many concealers over the last few years, both high end and, high street brands.... Mainly trying to find something that would realistically cover dark circles I'd never thought about the NYX brand until very recently. I am fair skinned, pink undertone, with blue/grey eyes so went for the 3CP01:LIGHT/CLAIR Conceal/Correct/Contour Palette. When it arrived it looked like a dark toned palette, I honestly thought it was a bad purchase and something I would be throwing away yet again unable to use. Having now tried the palette how wrong i was. After moisturising i used an oil based primer on my face, making sure that the skin wasn't dry or dehydrated, going just up to the delicate eye area and lightly tapping over the dark shadows. I used the pink/salmon colour in the palette,using my finger to warm the product and lightly applying to the actual dark circle only, not the full under eye area to emphasis the bag. The product went on smoothly..no creasing or sitting in fine lines. It blends easily, is buildable and isn't as thick or heavy as it appears in the palette. I found that the darkest shade was great for contouring under the cheekbones, and found the rest of the colours very adaptable for covering in perfections, redness etc even though they initially looked far too dark in the palette. After I covered the dark circles I set with a very light dusting of powder, via fan brush, then sprayed my face with a setting spray. It's now been on a full day, even got wet through in the rain.. It hasn't creased or budged, still looks as fresh as when I applied first thing. I'm leaving this review, hoping it may help anyone who has tried so many things to cover dark circles and feeling like nothing works. I have now found something that is adaptable, which you a customise to suit...and long wearing even on a 50+ skin. This brand/palette is definitely something worth trying if you've tried so any other well known brands and nothing has helped so far...especially via Ebay, for the fraction of the price you would normally pay going to the High Street to purchase. I would definitely recommend, being so adaptable, giving more colour choice in one palette than having to purchase several which.. end up in a drawer, not being able to use, wasting cash and time.
