Finally!
I have had wifi connection issues in my house for almost a year. I've had 2 routers, both have been cysco/linksys, and they both SUCKED. Constant buffering, always losing connection, slow speed. It was really annoying. I have always used Linksys routers because I'm used to setting them up already, and never had issues prior to these last 2 routers. I decided to shop around and spend more than $60 on a more high end router. I came across this router, and thought it might be over kill but I didn't care. It was a great price and had 10 times more power than my old crappy E1000 and E1700. I never thought I would need this AC3200 since it's only me and my wife. I am finally getting the speeds I pay for. My download speed before with the E1700 was 14 mbps. Now I'm getting 89 mbps! That's on the 5ghz channel. The 5ghz on the E1700 was unusable. I never got to use it. I recommend you get this AC3200 right now! It came directly from linksys, has 90 warranty, in a box with manuals and cables. WRT3200ACM very disappointed..
radio randomly disconnects from WAN, but remains connected to LAN, DD-WRT fixes that, but voids the warranty... go figure... both my WRT1600ac and this WRT3200acm does this. a lot of money for something that looks good, but is very problematic. when doing a change save, other settings randomly change, some completely fail and become unrecoverable. even after reflash. very disappointing to say the least. so many little petty thigs makes this so frustrating to use ... I was hoping that after my WRT1600ac nost of these operational interface issues would have been corrected. but apparently not. just so very disappointed. Dan kb7uxe

Get the Router for an awesome price!!!! And flash the new dd-wrt you will not be sorry but please read the instructions before flashing Dd wrt for the first time it allows you to have a lot of features you would only find in a lot of enterprise appliances and be sure to donate to the coders if your happy with the end result they work very. I miss RELIABLE Lynksys Products
The router is incredible when it works correctly. Ordered 1st one, had issues with wi-fi, it would stop working after a day or so, resets and reboots seldom helped. Was sent a 2nd advanced replacement, it was worse, never could get wi-fi to work, it would not even boot up without any devices hooked to it with wifi enabling. So I kept 1st one and called back again, they sent 3rd one, same issues with the wifi AND one of the usb ports would not recognize hdd that had worked fine on other 2. Sent 3rd one back and just gave up. I still have the 1st defective one. I was able to disable 5ghz wifi and get it to work reliable without it. All my research seems there is issues with the wifi drivers and the dual band. As far as the router, the mu-mimo is worth the upgrade alone from what I had been using. Maybe after the warranty runs out I put dd-wrt on it and see if does any better. It scared me when the first one arrived and it said Belkin on the outside of the box. This Linksys router is excellent -- if only it would keep working.
Pickup is excellent throughout my 1600 sp. ft. home. Throughput is also excellent - it's fast. but two months after purchasing a "refurbished" unit, it stopped working on the 2.4Ghz band. Powerful and secure AC3200 router
Came in a plain brown box without all the graphics that you'd find in the store. But, the router was professionally packaged very well for shipping and had nothing missing (always a concern when buying a refurb). Hooking it up, everything worked right out of the box. I can't comment on the firmware features as I immediately flashed the router to a DD-WRT image and got it to connect to my VPN host. There are 3 distinct channels, 2 of them @ 5MHz and the wired ports are all GBit. No lag as more devices are connected - now have 15 devices connected and all working at reasonable speed (speedtest results are significantly better than with previous NetGear N300 router). Video streaming at 1080p HD works without constant buffering! "Easy set up, great performance for all devices"
The set up was plug and play easy. No crazy configurations. WiFi performance at 2.4 or 5Ghz has been great. Right now I have 433 Mbps w/ 5GHz Hz. (72Mbps w/ 2.4GHz) It's been perfect connections for all our devices.
