The British Staff Car 8HP Tourer was based on the Austin 8 range and introduced in 1939. Before WWII the civilian version was available as a 2 door tourer or 4 door saloon. During WWII the army used them as staff cars with production continuing until 1947 although only as the 4 door saloon.
