I have used this soundproofing in conjunction with 2mm sound deadening mat of silent coat. Works perfectly and makes the van quieter and the sound staging of the music sounds a lot better.

Easy to cut and fit
Great fitted to the inside of doors and under the dash to reduce engine / road noise and also keeps some heat in. The adhesive backing sticks like s*** to a blanket - even when fitted in cold weather. Would not be suitable for areas of wear as the foam would rip. Bought these and a cheaper version.
I bought a box of these and a cheaper version. There is no comparison. The foam of these is more resilient and returns to shape better. They are both supposed to be 10mm but the cheaper version is about 10% thinner and the edges of these are crisp compared with the cheaper version.
