Great for popcorn
Butter in the spout (under the screw-on tip) hardens and is hard to get to melt when the unit is plugged in. I will run that part under hot water before I plug the unit in. That way, the butter in the tip has already melted when the butter in the container is ready to use. The sprayer is messy; it drips but I just put a napkin under it when I set it down. Great product. Easy to use, easy to clean. Best way I've ever found to butter popcorn. I would suggest covering cooled butter with plastic wrap and storing in fridge, and washing all misting parts before the butter solidifies. An old appliance that butters popcorn better than all others
Melts a stick of butter, then manually pumps it out through a spray nozzle. Also works for corn-on-the-cob with a brush attachment. A 40 year old design that is the best for what it does. After using, I fill the butter compartment with hot water and a squirt of dish detergent, then just pump it out the same as the melted butter.
