A no-brainer table...
Not sure why anybody would spend 500. or more on a starter table when these are available. Granted, it's in my "B" system, but it's stable, musical, and reliable, and with the right cartridge really punches above its weight. If you can get one in good shape, do it. If there is one single moving magnet cartridge proving that a moving magnet can by all ways beat most of costly moving coil cartridges, vintage or new, it's the Shure V15 III. The amazing quiet tracking as well as extreme frequency range, room filling, symphony rock of the day. Even with the basic stylus, it delivers an impeccable neutral, dynamic, precise, balanced sound from bass to treble On first listen the cartridge may sound a bit lifeless but give it time and you'll start hearing things in your music that you've not noticed before - that that one oboe is actually two or that your favorite singer hits an A-flat instead of a G-sharp, something you've never noticed before. Feeling fortunate to have acquired this for a more reasonable price than the majority of listings! Attachment tabs were intact, as were rubber corner pads. Think, look, and ask!
Well let's see, it is missing one foot on bottom of unit so will not sit level. Rubber disc on platter is warped and so hard it will not lay flat, which you really don't notice in pictures.
