AUTOart scale model honors a legendary car
This is a 1/18 scale model of the famous 1938 Bugatti Atlantic that was originally owned by a British tennis star named Richard Pope. (The car was purchased by Ralph Lauren in 1988.) The details are well done, and the finish on the sapphire blue painted exterior is superb. Unfortunately, my model does have a minor flaw in the interior lining behind the driver's seat: the molded plastic wall panel has warped and pulled away from the metal frame, leaving a noticeable gap. If it weren't for the defect, I'd give this AUTOart model 4.5 stars.

Incredibly beautiful
It's incredibly beautiful. Having seen a real one in black at the Raiph Lauren car show at the MFA in Boston, and read about and seen pictures of the metallic blue one, I now have some of each, and this one is the best.
