Seems to protect bare aluminium (and also plastics) pretty well. Smells like playdoh too - Love it :)
I found this sealant after I polished up the clipons (handlebars) on my bike but ofc being bare aluminium they went dull and started to show signs of corrosion in no time.... That's when I found this stuff and so far it seems to be working very well to keep all the bits shiny. It's still quite early days yet but I've peen applying it every other week or so (it's only a small area) and it's been working great. I've also just discovered that it seems to work quite nicely for bringing plastics back to their original colour (particularly matt black) - I'm hoping it'll do the same water beading thing on that as it des on aluminium. Oh and another thing I really like about this stuff is it smells like playdoh. I opened the pot and the smell hit me straight away. Dust washed off very easy
Finally got to use this & it was worth the wait! Had my alloys refurbed so i sealed the wheels twice with poorboys - glad i did.. Great price for an excellent product
This wheel wax goes on with a foam applicator easily leave for a couple of minutes out of direct sun and polish it off with a microfiber cloth. Wheels glisten and have a smooth to the touch feel., I did a second coat as it suggests A few drives later I washed the wheels and what had stuck washed off easily and the wheels looked as good as new again. It is good wax for sealing wheels. It requires some patience and some finger grease. It needs reapplying every now and then. If you care about your wheels and want preserve their good condition, this product will definitely help. It repells dust (especially brake dust) and water very well.
