I bought a vintage Dubl Buck Goldedge from an listing on "antique straight razors" on ebay. I did not expect it to be in perfect shape since it was vintage & used. It was pretty much as the pictures of it showed. I removed the scales, polished the blade and had the tang newly gold washed like they were when new. I then repainted the lettering & the ducks then honed it. I have been shaving with it.
